Mike Gunn, President & CEO
Mike Gunn was born in Toronto, Ontario. He immigrated to the US in 1969, and became a US citizen on July 18, 1983.
Mike started his business career in the data processing industry, working in operations, programming, software implementation, systems design and management and migrated to the direct marketing industry in 1981. Working primarily with catalogers Mike helped build customer databases, statistical models, circulation plans, and general direct marketing contact strategies including email marketing.
February 2004 Mike started ProfitRank, Inc. Outsourced Affiliate Marketing Management Services and has been successfully growing the affiliate channel revenues for several online companies since.
1978 - Mike took over the general management of an unprofitable payroll and accounting service bureau, AIMS. Under Mike's direction the company gained profitability within 5 months and was purchased by Direct Merchandising services in April 1979.
1979 - Mike created and managed the list hygiene/list rental fulfillment division of Direct Merchandising Services.
1983 - Mike joined direct marketing service bureau Computer Strategy Coordinators (CSC) as VP of Sales & Marketing.
1986 - CSC became the largest print and personalization plant in the Chicago land area. Mike was responsible for bringing in over 60% of the sales revenue.
1995 - Mike established the in house list hygiene, database and analytics divisions of CSC generating over $1.5 million in sales in the first year of operation.
1998 - Mike established the Email marketing division of CSC to help support database client needs.
CSC was acquired by Double Click in June, 2003.
2004 - Mike launched Profit Rank, Inc. an Internet Marketing Service firm specializing in Outsourced Affiliate Marketing Management Services.
In all, over the past 25 years Mike has assisted in selling the products and services of catalogers, retailers, non profits, insurance, travel, and financial companies selling both to businesses and to consumers. Profit Rank's driving philosophy represents the fruit of this experience: that successful Internet Marketing campaigns are fueled by measurement, driven by data, and—above all—profitable!

Jason G. Williscroft, VP Operations
Jason Williscroft is a former enlisted U.S. Marine and U.S. Navy Surface Warfare Officer. He holds a degree in Systems Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy.
Since his departure from the Navy in 2000, Jason founded and helped run an equity trading company in Seattle and spearheaded a hard-science R&D firm in Chicago to develop weapons systems for the Navy. Following a serendipitous consulting lead, Jason managed and grew a small online insurance marketplace from under $2,000 to over $40,000 in monthly revenue in under three years primarily using search engine marketing.
This last success derived from Jason's application of solid engineering principles to the highly quantitative challenges of Internet Marketing. The project catapulted Jason into an unexpected career change as a Search Engine Marketing and Website Usability expert, ultimately landing him in charge of operations and product development at Profit Rank.
